Dr. Debora R. Vilaboa graduated from the Complutense University, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Madrid at the age of 23. On the same year, she was accepted at the Seville School of Dentistry, where she obtained her dental degree on 1984.
Her interest in occlusion, prosthodontics and rehabilitation could not be further developed at the time as the positions for a women in pros and restorative programs were scarce and therefore chose to attend an Advanced Pediatric Dentistry Program at USC. The management of young children has always helped Dr. Vilaboa address Tooth Wear patients, many of them with fear.

She started gathering an enormous amount of data, analog at the time, and lectured on Tooth Wear as early as 1992, both in Spain and US.
The incipient adhesive restorative dentistry with scattered promoters still in the 90´s was not an obstacle for Dr. Vilaboa to manage Tooth Wear with an adhesive concept at the time, being a pioneer in the field of porcelain laminate veneers.
She soon became a member of the Spanish Society of Stomatological Prosthetics (SEPES) and the Spanish Society of Periodontology (SEPA). Her passion for patients and continuing education was rewarded when she became an Active Member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED). Vilaboa is an active member of the American Academy of Oral Medicine (AAOM) and her dedication to research that has granted her several patents.
She is also a Fellow Member of the International College of Dentists (ICD) and Academic at the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Beatriz R. Vilaboa received her degree in Medicine and Surgery with honours, from the Complutense University of Madrid that granted also her specialty in Stomatology.

Her devotion to treating patients in the most conservative approach possible moved her from the more classical way to the Adhesive-Additive mode that enabled her to provide solutions to the Tooth Wear patient.
Her interest in Tooth Wear culminated with a PhD under the title, “Tooth Wear impact on the patient´s quality of life” from San Pablo CEU University Faculty of Medicine in Madrid where she is Co-Director of the under graduate Esthetic Dentistry department.
Her passion for teaching has also seen a manifold of courses and hands-on courses that Dr. Beatriz R. Vilaboa and her sister, Debora R. Vilaboa have profuselly given since the early 90´s, contributing to the education in Esthetic Dentistry of numerous dentists in Spain.
