Synopsis
The experts who gathered at the Red meets White Symposium in Tegernsee try to defi ne the meaning of modern Esthetic Dentistry. The goal is to imitate nature as perfectly as possible and so it is important to fi nd a good working interdisciplinary approach. The experts agree that the teamleading discipline in such a network of specialties would be the prosthodontist. Therefore it is very important for young dentists to have a good knowledge in prosthetics and so the experts compare their approaches to a good interdisciplinary collaboration. The different points of view are described and all participants in this talk agree that there is still a big lack in the education of young dentists regarding practice in forms of a so-called "mentoring".
