Before becoming a dentist, he completed his undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, then attended New York University College of Dentistry. While he has been in practice for over three decades, he truly enjoys his work and believes in the power of continuing education at every level. Dr. Lamberg has served as an associate clinical professor at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine and has served as Chief of Staff at the Jewish Home and Hospital in New York City. A strong interest in cosmetic dentistry led him to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and he served as the president of the New York Chapter in 1998.  After completing all the courses at the Dawson Academy he studied at the Misch Institute and then went on to complete the curriculum and become a graduate of the Kois Center.  He is currently a Scientific Advisor for the Kois Center and regularly attends meetings and most recently spoke at their 2018 symposium in Seattle. Dr. Steven Lamberg invented the Lamberg SleepWell Oral Appliance and holds several related patents. He is on the editorial review board of Dental Sleep Practice and has contributed many articles to help dentists launch dental sleep medicine as an integral part of their general practice. Additionally, he holds seminars for other dentists and providers to offer a comprehensive curriculum on dental sleep medicine under his Lamberg Seminars brand. Always passionate about sleep and total body wellness, the Lamberg Seminars brand was started after he became a Diplomate in the Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2011 and he has served as a faculty member for their board review courses ever since becoming a member. Dr. Lamberg currently lectures nationally as well as internationally on topics related to dental sleep medicine and wellness and has published both adult and pediatric sleep screening questionnaires.  He is currently involved with research evaluating sleep disordered breathing and autism. Dr. Lamberg has also launched a pediatric and adult airway network of Long Island, aka PAANNY, where dentists and physicians collaborate on treating patients in an effort to prevent obstructive sleep apnea in adults.

Luca Landi graduated in dentistry at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome in 1991. Scholarship for studies and research abroad of the University of Florence (1994-96). Specialization in Periodontology (CAGS) at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine (1994-1997).  Adjunct Professor (2006-08) University of Siena. Holds several teaching positions such as in the post graduate course in Oral Surgery University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (1999-2002), in the Masters in Periodontology of the Universities of Turin (2019- to date), Florence (20-to date), Ferrara, Rome “Cattolica” and Roma “La Sapienza” (20-to date).  Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implantology (2003).  Member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.  Active member and SIdP Board of Periodontology and Implantology of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP) since 2004 where he held the position of Secretary (2012-13), Treasurer (2014-17), President-Elect (2018-19) and President (2020-21).   ITI Fellow (2022) and Founding Partner and Fellow of Boston University Italian Alumni (1999). Author of publications in international peer-reviewed journals and speaker at national and international conferences and co-author of chapters of texts on periodontology, implantology, endodontics and prosthetics. Devotes his clinical activity exclusively to periodontology, implantology and oral surgery in his associated offices in Rome and Verona.

Professor Niklaus P. Lang is the author of more than 520 publications. He holds four honorary doctorates and honorary membership of more than 10 national and international associations. In 1968 he was awarded the Swiss Dental Association’s renowned Prix Louis Metzger and in 1992, he received the IADR’s Basic Science in Periodontal Disease Award. He is a past president of the ITI and the Swiss Society for Periodontology (SSP) and was Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Oral Implants Research until 2016. He is active in clinical research related to implant dentistry, periodontology, etiology and pathogenesis of peri-implant infections, risk evaluation, wound healing and oral microbiology.

Burton Langer, DMD, MScD, was one of the first periodontists trained in osseointegration by Professor Per-Ingvar Brånemark. He has lectured extensively throughout the world and has written over 50 articles and chapters for ten textbooks. He is the recipient of the 1992 Isador Hirschfeld Award for Clinical Excellence, the 1997 American Academy of Periodontology Master Clinician Award, and the 2015 Robert Eskow New York University College of Dentistry/Implant Dentistry Award. Dr Langer was named an honorary member of the American College of Prosthodontists in 2016.

Dr. Lanis graduated from the University of Valparaiso, Chile in 2008 and completed a three-year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology at the University of Chile in Santiago. Additionally, he has an advanced diploma in Marketing and Health Administration from University of Chile School of Business and an advanced certification in Medical Education from Catholic University of Chile School of Medicine. In 2013, he moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to participate as an Implant Scholar in the Periodontics and Oral Medicine Department at University of Michigan School of Dentistry. During his career he has been specially dedicated to the practice of advanced prosthodontics, oral implantology and digital dentistry. Dr. Lanis is a recognized international lecturer in digital dentistry, oral implantology, esthetics and prosthodontics. He is fellow of the International Team for Implantology where he serves in the Global Education Committee and member of the European Association for Osseointegration, the International College of Prosthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has published several scientific articles in specialized journals and books and has collaborated as a scientific advisor with different dental implant companies worldwide.

Born in 1960 in Bordeaux, Jean-François Lasserre, PhD., DDS, graduated from the University of Bordeaux 2 in 1983. Following his DEA in anthropology, in 1994 he became an associate professor in the Prosthetic department of the Dental faculty of the University of Bordeaux. In 2003 he defended his University Doctoral Thesis on the topic of dental wear in modern and historical population, developing and introducing a chewing simulator device to study the in vitro wear of novel ceramic and composite dental materials. For more than 15 years, he has been teaching Occlusion, to later dedicate himself to research and teaching of dental esthetics and ceramic restorations. He has authored numerous articles in national and international journals and has frequently presented lectures in France and abroad, dedicated to esthetic ceramic restorations. Jean-François Lasserre practices at the University Dental Hospital Center but also owns a private clinic in Bordeaux specializing in dental esthetics, implantology, and prosthetics. He is a founder of the research and educational group for dental esthetics named “Symbiose.” For many years Jean-François Lasserre has been a Vice Dean of the Dental Faculty, in charge of the international relations, and has been granted the Honoris Causa as well as the title of Associate Professor by the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMP) in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. He is also Associate Professor at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Luliu Hatieganu” in Cluj-Napoca in Romania.

Dr. Ernesto Lee is a distinguished expert in Dental Implants and Esthetic Dentistry, notable for his patented S.M.A.R.T. Minimally Invasive Bone Grafting technique. He formerly directed the Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics Postgraduate Program at the University of Pennsylvania, where he significantly enhanced its reputation. Dr. Lee also established the Temple University Dental Implantology Center in 1989, a pioneering facility in Philadelphia.

An accomplished educator and innovator, Dr. Lee has taught and lectured globally, contributing to over 30 publications and presenting at numerous prestigious dental forums. His S.M.A.R.T. technique improves jawbone reconstruction, minimizing patient discomfort and complications.

Dr. Lee, a Panama native and summa cum laude graduate from the University of Panama, runs a practice in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He lives with his wife, orthodontist Dr. LynAnn Mastaj, and their children Michael and Mackenzie.

Lydia Legg, DDS, MS, is a reconstructive maxillofacial prosthodontist and dental oncologist. Dr Legg is the director of Reconstructive Maxillofacial Prosthetics in the Department of Otolaryngology Division of Surgery at Mass Eye and Ear and in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Division of Surgery at Mass General Brigham. She is an instructor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and has affiliations with the Dana Farber and Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center as well as the Cleft and Craniofacial Center at the Shriner’s Hospital.

Dr. Christian Leonhardt is an alumnus of Würzburg University College of Dentistry, where he laid the foundation for his distinguished career. Post-graduation, he pursued diverse curricula and master's programs across Germany, Europe and the U.S., including a notable Master of Science in Orthodontics from Danube University. Widely recognized as a specialist in Prosthodontics, Dr. Leonhardt places great emphasis on continuous education, regularly attending lectures and conferences to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. Operating a comprehensive practice in Augsburg, Dr. Leonhardt offers a full spectrum of dental services, reflecting his commitment to providing comprehensive care to his patients. Additionally, his practice serves as a teaching practice- affiliated with DTMD University in Luxembourg, highlighting his dedication to academic collaboration. Dr. Leonhardt's involvement as both a graduate and mentor at the Kois Center is a testament to his passion for sharing knowledge and promoting evidence-based teaching methodologies within the dental community. After completing his basic training as a dental technician, Peter Lerch opted for professional residencies and further training at home and abroad. In 1988/89 he completed his training as a prosthodontist at the University of Zurich. He worked as a consultant in his institute and is a lecturer in prosthetics and functional analysis. He is also active as a speaker at home and abroad. He is credited with various noteworthy professional publications and video productions. His self-developed treatment concept, the Lerch Concept, is known worldwide and is constantly being refined. In addition, he is and has been involved in various developments such as the CONCEPTOR Alpha (first device to simulate mandibular movement), the SOLUTION ceramic anterior tooth (ENTA) and preciform d (bredent) (impression instrument). In 1994 he founded the I.S.P. Individual System Prothetik AG and later, founded and took over the management of the Institute for Functional Analysis and Prosthetics. These days he deals with, patient consultations, functional analysis and the resulting therapeutic consequences. He is passively involved in the following associations: DGZMK, DGFDT and AKPP.
