Dr. Effrat Habsha B.Sc., D.D.S., Dip. Prostho., M.Sc., F.R.C.D.(C)

Dr. Effie Habsha received her Bachelor of Science degree and earned her DDS degree from the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, ON. Dr. Habsha received her Diploma in Prosthodontics and Master of Science degree, both from the University of Toronto. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) and is an examiner and Section Head for the Oral Examination in Prosthodontics for the RCDC. Dr. Habsha is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Dentistry, Eastman Institute for Oral Health at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She has served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and currently instructs both at the undergraduate and graduate level in Prosthodontics at U of T. Dr. Habsha is a Professor at George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology and is the On-staff Prosthodontist at MedCan clinic in Toronto. She holds an appointment as Staff Prosthodontist at Mount Sinai Hospital where she instructs the dental residents and is involved in various clinical research projects. Dr. Habsha is an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics and Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of The Pierre Fauchard Academy and holds memberships in numerous Prosthodontic organizations and societies. She lectures both nationally and internationally on various Prosthodontic topics and maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry in Toronto.

Dr. Dan Hagi

Educated at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Hagi was one of the youngest graduates to ever receive his doctorate degree. During his years of private practice Dr. Hagi gained a passion for aesthetic dentistry. Nach dem Studium der Zahnheilkunde an der LMU München war Jan Hajtó in der Gemeinschaftspraxis Hajtó und Cacaci in München tätig und besitzt langjährige klinische Erfahrungen auf dem Gebiet adhäsiv und konventionell befestigter vollkeramischer Restaurationen. Zu den Themenbereichen Ästhetik, Keramik und digitale Zahnheilkunde ist er national und international als Referent tätig, hat zahlreiche Beiträge in Büchern und Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht und leitet Kurse im Rahmen von Fortbildungsveranstaltungen. Dr. Hajtó ist Lehrbeauftragter der Akademie Praxis und Wissenschaft (APW) innerhalb der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde und seit 2011 als Referent des Curriculums Ästhetische Zahnmedizin der Zahnärztekammern Niedersachsen, Nordrhein und Westfalen-Lippe tätig. Er ist außerdem Gewinner des Forschungspreises Vollkeramik der AG Keramik 2015.

Fokus seiner Tätigkeit sind seit dieser Zeit Erkrankungen des Kopf-Hals-Bereiches, ursächlich durch chronische Entzündungen und Tumore bedingt. Neben der Etablierung moderner chirurgischer Eingriffe zählte auch die Entwicklung neuartiger Operationstechniken zu seinen Leistungen am Klinikum der Goethe-Universität.

Professor Hambek ist als Peer Reviewer für international angesehene, wissenschaftliche Fachjournale im Bereich HNO, Onkologie und Pharmakoökonomie tätig.
