Prof. Dr. Hannes Wachtel

Professor Hannes Wachtel received his dental degree in 1982 from the University of Tübingen. He followed a postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California, and after that in Periodontology at the Free University Berlin. Subsequently he was elected as Associate Professor in Periodontology and obtained his PhD. Currently he holds a clinical professorship at the University of Berlin, Medicine Charité as well as at the University of Gothenburg, Sahlgrenska Academy. He is a member of various dental organizations including active member of European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and lectures nationally and internationally on periodontics, implantology and esthetics. He is author of over 100 scientific articles and has published numerous chapters in textbooks. Since 1994 he maintained a private clinic in Munich, together with Wolfgang Bolz, devoted to periodontology, implantology and restorative dentistry. In 2014, he and his partner founded the implaneo Dental Clinic, specialized in implant dentistry focusing on all‐on‐4 treatment concepts including rehabilitation with zygomatic implants.

Michael P. Waliszewski DDS, MsD

Michael P. Waliszewski, DDS, MsD, received his DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2002. He subsequently completed his postgraduate training in prosthodontics at the University of Washington in 2005. Upon graduation, he returned home to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as a clinical assistant professor at Marquette. While his transition to full-time private practice was complete by 2015, he maintained a part-time teaching position until 2022. He remains a full-time clinician who manages the real-world everyday issues of prosthodontics.

Dr. Helmut Walsch

Dr. Helmut Walsch graduated from the Dental School of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich, Germany in 1994, where he also received his doctoral degree in 1996. He completed the full time postgraduate Endodontic and earned a Master of Science in Endodontics/Oral Biology degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a founding member and former board member of the German Society of Endodontology (DGET). He maintains a private practice limited to Micro-Endodontics and Endodontic Microsurgery in Munich and serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Endodontic Department, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Diplomate of the AAE and a certified member of the ESE and EDA (European Dental Association) and honorary member of the VDZE.

ZTM Volker Weber

Volker Weber, MDT graduated as Certified Dental Technician in 1987. From 1988 to 2009, he worked closely with the Department of Prosthodontics of RWTH Aachen University (Director: Professor Hubertus Spiekermann), especially in the field of oral implantology with special emphasis on the use of different implant systems. This cooperation intensified when he joined the Impladent dental laboratory at Aachen in 1992. In 1994 he passed the examination for Master Dental Technician in Cologne. Since 2005 he has been a consultant on implant-supported restorations for various institutions and has published articles on implant-supported superstructures. Since 2009 he has been continuing his cooperation with the Department of Prosthodontics, Oral Implantology and Biomaterials of RWTH Aachen University (Director: Professor Stefan Wolfart).

Dr. med. dent. Daniel Weber

Dr. Weber absolvierte das Studium der Zahnmedizin von 1997 bis 2003 an der Philipps-Universität Marburg. Seit 2003 arbeitet er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in der Abteilung für Orofaziale Prothetik und Funktionslehre am Universitätsklinikum Gießen und Marburg GmbH, Standort Marburg (Prof. Dr. U. Lotzmann). Nach Promotion 2008 und Verleihung des Dissertationspreises „Kuratorium perfekter Zahnersatz“ erfolgte die Ernennung zum Oberarzt. Seit 2009 leitet Dr. Weber die Spezialsprechstunde für Erkrankungen des Kiefergelenkes und Kaufunktionsstörungen und den Kursus der Zahnersatzkunde II. 2012 wurde er zum qualifiziert fortgebildeten Spezialisten für Prothetik und 2014 zum fortgebildeten Gutachter der Deutschen Gesellschaft für prothetische Zahnmedizin und Biomaterialien (DGPro) zertifiziert. Im Jahr 2016 erfolgte die Ernennung zum Spezialisten für Funktionsdiagnostik und -therapie der DGFDT. Auf der 50. Jahrestagung der DGFDT erhielt der den Tagungspreis für den besten Vortrag aus der Wissenschaft. Die Berufung zum Associate Professor in Dental Medicine an der Caucasus International University, Tbilisi, Georgien erfolgte im Jahr 2018. 2019 erhielt er den Preis für hervorragende Lehre des Fachbereichs Medizin der Philipps-Universität Marburg. Dr. Weber ist seit 2019 Mitglied im Vorstand der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Funktionsdiagnostik und -therapie.
