Dr. Marco Nicastro

Italy, Roma

A graduate of the Faculty of Dentistry and Prosthodontics at the University of La Sapienza in Rome (Italy). He also completed studies in the field of prosthetics. He gained new experience in prosthetic procedures at Oral Design Center Roma, and in the field of new directions of esthetic dentistry by participating in courses conducted at the University of Geneva (Switzerland). His practice “Studio Dr. Nicastro” in Rome uses modern therapeutic methods. Minimally invasive procedures, shaping optimal occlusive conditions, integrating esthetics and functions, and finally, the methodology of digital dentistry set the tone for everyday practice in this therapeutic center. This renowned center is dominated by two specialties: esthetic dentistry and implantology, with a wide range of accompanying prosthetic procedures. He is a member of the Italian Dental Society and the Italian Academy of Dental Prosthetics , and one of the founders of the Interdisciplinary CAD/CAM Study. Author of many international publications, lecturer at national and international congresses in the field of esthetic restorative dentistry.

In 2005, completed a doctoral thesis on "Animal experimental studies of the early osseointegration behavior of cylindrical versus conical implants in vivo". 2005-2006: Research Assistant at the Clinic for Conservative Dentistry at the University of Münster, Westphalia. 2006-2009: Research Assistant at the Clinic for Orthodontics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. In 2009, became a specialist in Orthodontics. 2009-2015: Senior physician at the Clinic for Orthodontics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. In 2015, completed his habilitation on "Stability of orthodontic mini-implants during the healing phase" and was appointed as a private lecturer. In 2015, employed at the orthodontic practice Dr. Ludwig/Dr. Glasl in Traben-Trarbach. Since 2016, operating his own practice in Düsseldorf; external staff member of the Clinic for Orthodontics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Since 12/2012, member of the scientific advisory board of the journal "Orthodontics" (Quintessenz Publishing). Since 02/2015, co-editor of "IOK - Information from Orthodontics & Orthopedics" (Thieme). National and international activities as a reviewer and speaker. Research focuses: Skeletal anchoring and biomechanics.

Dr. David Nisand DDS

David Nisand, DDS, Specialist in Periodontics He graduated in dentistry at the University of Paris 5, France. He was awarded a 3 years residency in the department of Periodontology and Implantology at the University of Paris 7 along with a 3 year post graduate program in Periodontology and oral Implantology at the University of Paris 7. He currently is lecturer for the Certificate in Periodontology at the University of Paris 7. From 2005 to 2007 he has been instructor at the Department of Periodontology, University of Paris 7, France. Currently President of the SFPIO (French Society of Periodontology and Oral Implantology) and member of the EAO communication committee. Member of the EAO Junior Committee from 2007 to 2011. He is co-editor of the European Academy for Osseointegration journal, Inspyred, and reviewer for the main scientific journals. Author of several international peer reviewed publications and book chapters and International speaker on bone regeneration, short implants, periodontal regeneration, osseointegration and implant protocols. Dr. David Nisand currently performs clinical work limited to periodontics and implant dentistry in Paris, France.

Francis Nohl

Francis Nohl is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry. He is a Specialist Trainer in Prosthodontics and leads the dental implant team at Newcastle Dental Hospital. In addition he is Degree Programme Director for the Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology. He has an MSc in Conservative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute UK.

Andreas Nolte

Germany, Münster

Andreas Nolte graduated as a Certified Dental Technician in Lübbecke in 1989 and worked at several dental laboratories through 1993. The following eight years he worked in an in-office laboratory. Following various stints in different areas of Germany and abroad in 2001 and 2002, he founded his own company Enamelum et Dentinum in Münster, where he has been running his own laboratory and training center since 2004. Nolte has authored several articles in dental and dental technology journals and has been a presenter on the international stage since 2000. He is a member of the editorial boards of Quintessenz Zahntechnik and Dental Dialogue and has been a member of “Group 65” for several years.
