Ästhetische minimalinvasive Restaurationen aus Komposit im Front- und Seitenzahnbereich

Professor emeritus at the University of Geneva. Past president of the University Clinics of Dental Medicine and past Director of the Department of Preventive Dental Medicine and Primary Dental Care and Chairman, Division of Cariology and Endodontology, University Clinics of Dental Medicine (CUMD). Focused on noninvasive restorative treatments, adhesive restorations of vital and devital teeth, lasers in dentistry, CAD/CAM manufacturing, 3D printing, digital 3D smile design, dental photography, novel caries diagnostic methods, personalized dental prevention, AI-empowered monitoring concepts and artificial intelligence in dentistry in general. Under my 9-years presidency from 2009 to 2018, the new revolutionary facility of the University Clinics of Dental Medicine of the University of Geneva with 90 clinical and 32 preclinical workstations was designed, constructed and successfully opened: https://youtu.be/7xdL4EH3g08. Together with Prof. Albert Feilzer, I have been serving as co-director of several PhD theses at the Academic Centre for Dentistry (ACTA), Amsterdam. The goal of modern dentistry is anti-aging and lifelong oral health. This vision is now becoming real by implementing AI-empowered early diagnosis and regular monitoring, individualized prevention, microregenerative procedures, as well as painless noninvasive early interventions.
