Dr Agliardi graduated with honors from the University of Milan in 1994, specializing in medicine and surgery. At the same university, he attained a specialization in maxillofacial surgery in 2000 and a specialization in orthodontics in 2005. Since 2009, Dr Agliardi has been in charge of the Special Rehabilitation Surgery department at the Department of Dentistry of IRCCS San Raffaele of Milan, and he is also a professor in the Special Rehabilitation Surgery Department at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. For over 15 years, he has been involved in the implant-prosthetic rehabilitation of compromised patients with tilted and zygomatic implants.

Dr. Alessandro Agnini graduated in 1989 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. He practices in his Modena and Sassuolo offices, where he devotes himself exclusively to the disciplines of fixed prosthetics, periodontology, and implantology. Active Member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO), Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), Digital Implant and Rehabilitation Academy (DIRA), International Digital Dental Academy (IDDA), from 2006 to 2020 Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP). Founding member of the Italian Society of Prosthetics and Oral Rehabilitation (SIPRO). Author and coauthor of scientific publications in national and international journals and speaker at national and international congresses. Since 2011, he has been a speaker at www.dentalxp.com, of which he is a member of the editorial board. Author of the books The Digital Revolution: the Learning Curve and The Digital Revolution 2.0: Clinico-Technical Applications in Daily Practice published by Quintessence Publishing Italy in 2014 and 2022, respectively. ANDI Modena cultural secretary from March 2013 to March 2019. Founder, together with his brother, of Digital Dental Revoultion (DDR) Education, a company whose aim is to organize and participate in congresses and courses in Italy and abroad on dental updating.

He works as a freelancer in Modena and Sassuolo, together with his brother Alessandro. He attended a master's degree cource at New York university in 2009 to 2011, with Dr Dennis Tarnow, Dr Christian Stappert, Dr Stephen Chu and Dr Michael Bral, among others, as teachers and mentors. He was in the academic year 2010 to 2011 Clinical Research Fellow of the Ashman Department of Periodontics and Implantology at New York University, working with Dr Sang Choon Cho. Since 2011, he has been a speaker at www.dentalxp.com where he is part of the editorial board. Author and coauthor of scientific publications in national and international journals and speaker at national and international congresses. Dr Araújo is a Periodontist working both in private practice Rio de Janeiro and at the State University of Maringa, Parana, Brazil. He completed his PhD at The University of Gothenburg, Sweden in 1998. He is the Chairman of the Perio/Implant Research Unit, State University of Maringá. He has together with his co-workers published groundbreaking research in the fields of ridge alterations following tooth extraction, ridge preservation, bone formation in extraction sockets and immediate implant placement. He is an ITI Fellow, a former ITI Chairman in Brazil and Osteology Foundation Board member. He is member of the editorial board of several journals.

Prof. Juan Blanco graduated in medicine in 1986 and in stomatology in 1988 – both from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He then moved to Madrid to take a Master’s in Periodontology at the Universidad Complutense, where he also earned his PhD. From 1996 to 2007, he worked as an assistant professor in Periodontology at the Universidad of Santiago de Compostela, where he became Professor and Chairman of Periodontology in 2008. Prof. Blanco was president of the Spanish Society of Periodontology from 2007-2010, Chairman of the ITI Iberian Section from 2010-2016, President of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) (2016-2017) and Past-president of the European Federation of Periodontology (2017-2018). He also served as a member of the ITI Research Committee.

Daniel Buser, DDS, Prof em Dr med dent, is one of the most experienced international implant surgeons, with 35 years of surgical experience. He is past professor and chairman in the Department of Oral Surgery at the University of Bern in Switzerland and past president of the European Association for Osseointegration, the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology, the Swiss Society of Oral Surgery and Stomatology, and the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the ITI Honorary Fellowship and the Morton Amsterdam Award. He has authored and coauthored over 400 publications and is editor of 30 Years of Guided Bone Regeneration (Quintessence, 2021), which was recently published in its third edition. Dr Buser is cofounder of the Buser & Sculean Academy, which offers continuing education courses in periodontology and implant dentistry, and lectures nationally and internationally.

Tali Chackartchi graduated dentistry in 2002. Completed a post-graduate program in Periodontology at the Department of Periodontology, Hadassah & Hebrew University Faculty of Dental Medicine in 2008, and became a clinical instructor in the department at the same year. EFP accredited specialist since 2009. In 2009 graduated the program of implant reconstructive dentistry   in the G.Niznick Oral Implant Center. Awarded Two years scholarship from the Staub-Family fund for Perio-prosthesis scholars. Performing research in the field of biological and clinical implications of the combined Ortho-Perio treatment and digital and guided implantology. International speaker on digital implantology, bone augmentation, soft tissue management around teeth and implants, and the “Ortho-Perio” interface. Former board member of the Israeli Specialists Forum. Member of the Israeli Post Graduate examination committee. Member of the Experts Council of the Osteology Foundation and past president of the Israeli Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration. Owner of a private clinic located in Tel-Aviv dedicated to periodontology and implant dentistry.

Dr. Luca Cordaro is chair of the Department of Periodontology and Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome. He graduated in Medicine at the University of Roma "La Sapienza" where he also got a degree in Dentistry. He holds a Ph.D. degree and is a certified specialist in oral surgery. He also works, together with his brother, in a private practice founded in 1957 by his father. Dr Cordaro is author or co- author of more than 70 papers published in italian or international journals and has lectured in Europe, Asia, North and South America. In 2007 he won the H. Goldman Prize for Clinical Research of the Italian Society of Periodontology. He is author of different book chapters and coauthor of the books "The SAC Classification in Implant Dentistry" and ITI Treatment Guide 7 published by Quintessence Publishing. He is active member of the Italian Society of Osseointegration and Fellow of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). In the ITI he serves as member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Study Club Committee and Chairrman for the Italian Section. He has been elected in the EAO Board in 2010 and serves as Chair of the Congress committee and Secretary General. His professional interests are Periodontology, Implantology and Oral surgery with a special interest regarding the reconstructive treament of alveolar atrophies.

Prof. Dr. Jan Cosyn obtained the Diploma of Dentist at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2000. He then specialized in Parodontology and Oral Implantology at the same institution and combined this with a doctoral program. Today, Dr. Cosyn a private practice with academic function. At Ghent University, Prof. Cosyn appointed Chief Examiner and is Secretary of the Education Committee Dentistry. He has lectures in Epidemiology, Oral Microbiology, Periodontology and Oral Implantology in the Bachelor's and Master's Degree Dentist. He is also a Master of Science in Parodontology and Oral Implantology and accompanies specialists in education in scientific research. At the Vrije Universiteit Brussel is Prof. Cosyn head of the Department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology, chairman of the Oral Health research group and chairman of the Faculty of Dentistry Committee of Dentistry. Prof. Cosyn was so far (co) promoter of 6 PhDs and published more than 80 scientific articles. He is therefore frequently asked as a speaker at home and abroad.

Vincent Fehmer, MDT, received his dental technical education and degree in Stuttgart, Germany, before completing fellowships in Great Britain and the United States in Oral Design–certified dental technical laboratories. After working several years in such a laboratory in Berlin, he received his MDT degree and became the chief dental technician at the Clinic for Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics in Zurich, Switzerland. Since 2015, he has been a dental technician at the Clinic for Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials in Geneva, Switzerland. He also runs his own laboratory in Lausanne. Mr Fehmer is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), and a member of the Oral Design group as well as the European Association of Dental Technology (EADT) and the German Society of Esthetic Dentistry (DGÄZ). He is a sought-after international speaker and has received many honors for his work, including the Kenneth Rudd Award from the American Prosthodontic Society. He has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals within the field of fixed prosthodontics and digital dental technology, contributed to many books, and recently coauthored the book Fixed Restorations: A Clinical Guide to the Selection of Materials and Fabrication Technology with Irena Sailer and Bjarni Pjetursson. Mr Fehmer also serves as Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, Section Editor for the International Journal of Prosthodontics, and co-chair for the 26^thInternational Symposium on Ceramics (June 2023).

Graduated cum laude in 1986 in Medicine and Surgery at the Univ. of Trieste, specialized with honors in Dentistry in 1989 at the Univ. of Pisa. Dr. Fonzar has been directing the “E.Fonzar” Friulian Dental Clinic in Campoformido (UD) since 1996. Periodontology, implantology and prosthetics are the specializations to which Dr. Fonzar has dedicated his activity, becoming one of the leading European experts. Active member and Past President of SIDP, member AIOP and Int. Dr. German Gallucci received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (Dr. Med. Dent.) from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He attended a postdoctoral training at the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and Occlusion, School of Dental Medicine, University of Geneva where he later became a full-time faculty at the same department. Dr Gallucci also received a Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam.  In 2007, he established a new Postgraduate Education Program in Oral Implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is currently department chair of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences, and also oversees the Harvard Dental Center as its executive director. Dr. Gallucci participates in lectures, seminars, practical courses and table clinics at national and international meetings and symposia. He has authored scientific publications in the field of Fixed Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry and his work has been mostly published in international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Gallucci serves as an editorial board member for Journal of Dental Research (JDR), Clinical Oral Implants Research (COIR), and International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants (IJOMI). He is a fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), Switzerland, an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration and the European Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Ramón Gómez Meda obtained his Degree in Dentistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1996 with the best marks. As a result, he obtained the Thesis Award of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for Academic Excellence, and a Grant from the College of Dentists of Cordoba to the best Academic record among the Spanish Dental Schools. He has been distinguished with several more grants and awards through his professional career. He decided to study every field in dentistry against the advice of many of his professors: a Master of Occlusion and Temporomandibular Dysfunction (Valencia, 98) and a postgraduate training in Orthodontics with Prof. David Suarez Quintanilla in the University of Santiago de Compostela (98-99). He graduated in Periodontics and Implantology (Madrid 99-00) and completed this studies with clinical stays in colleges, hospitals and clinics in Europe and America. Ex-partner of the departments of Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics and Surgery at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He maintains a private practice in Ponferrada (León) since 2001. He is a member of severalscientific societies: AEDE (Spanish Association for Endodontics), SEPA (Spanish Association for Periodontology and Osseointegration), SEPES (Spanish Association for Dental Prosthetics), SEI (Spanish Implants Association), being a frequent speaker for SEPES in the field of the multidisciplinary rehabilitation. He has published more than 30 articles about hard and soft tissue grafting techniques as well as multidisciplinary treatments. He is a Clinical Investigator of new implant surfaces and biomaterials for Zimmer Dental. Lately he has been lecturing very intensively nationally and internationally on Endodontics, Periodontics, Implantology and, Aesthetic Multidisciplinary treatments for universities, study groups, professional societies, web sites (Dental-XP, Dentared,...) and companies (Biohorizons, Dentsply Implants, Zimmer, Geistlich Biomaterials,...). He is a lecturer for the Continuing Education Committee of the General Dental Spanish Council since 2011.

Dr. Gonzalez-Martin received the DDS degree from University of Seville in 1999 and was appointed as an assistant professor at the same university from 1999 to 2005, while also working in a private practice. In 2005, he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA) to obtain an MS degree in Graduate Periodontics and Periodontal-Prosthesis in 2009 from University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He received the Arnold Weisgold’s Director’s Award. He joined the UPenn faculty as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in 2009 and he currently keeps the position. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics in 2009. In 2010, he received a scholarship to join to the Fixed Prosthodontic and Occlusion Department at the University of Geneva School of Dental Medicine. In 2015, he obtained an International PhD at the University of Seville. Currently, he serves as Editor-in-Chief for The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry. At present, he teaches in the graduate program of Periodontology at University Complutense of Madrid, Part-time in Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences Harvard School of Dental Medicine while continuing work at a private practice, Atelier Dental Madrid, exclusive to periodontics, prosthesis, and implants.

Dr. Arndt Happe graduated from dental school in 1994, having studied at Westfälische Wilhelms University, Münster. Following post-graduate studies with Professor Fouad Khoury and successful specialization in oral surgery, he obtained his doctoral degree in 1996. At that time he had already been active as a speaker and co-author of national and international publications in the field of oral implantology. Since 1999, Dr. Happe has worked as an oral surgeon in private practice in Münster, with a professional focus on both oral implantology (since 2000) and periodontology (since 2004). He taught in various postgraduate programs offered by the German Association of Oral Implantology (DGI), the European Association of Dental Implantologists (BDIZ EDI), the German Association of Esthetic Dentistry (DGÄZ) and the German Society for Periodontology (DGP), as well as in the “Periodontology and Implant Therapy” master program of the DGP in cooperation with Dresden International University. In addition, Dr. Happe is an external research assistant at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery and Implantology at the University of Cologne (Director: Professor Joachim E. Zöller). He is an affiliate of the prestigious European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED).

Alexis Ioannidis is a Senior Teaching and Research Assistant at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry, University of Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated 2009 at the University of Zurich and received the title „Dr. med. dent.“ at the same University (2013). After completion of a 3-year post-graduate training at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich in 2016, he received a stipend founded by the Clinical Research Foundation to spend 6 months as a research fellow at the Department of Biomaterials at the University of Athens, Greece. Since 2017 he serves as a full-time Senior Teaching and Research Assistant at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Zurich. His clinical focus is on the comprehensive treatment of complex, fully dentated or partially edentulous patients applying all available options of prosthetic dentistry including dental implants. He is a specialist for reconstructive dentistry (Swiss Society for Reconstructive Dentistry), an EPA Recognized Specialist in Prosthetic Dentistry (European Prosthodontic Association), has a Master of Advanced Studies in Periodontology and a Master of Advanced Studies in Oral Implantology (University of Zurich). His main scientific interest is related to minimally invasive prosthetic treatment concepts. He has published > 25 scientific and clinical articles, mostly in high-ranked peer-reviewed journals.

Ronald Jung is trained in oral surgery, prosthodontics and implant therapy. He is currently Head Division of Implantology at the Clinic of Reconstructive Dentistry, Center of Dental Medicine, University of Zürich. In 2006 he worked as Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontics at the University of Texas Heath Science Center at San Antonio, USA (Chairman: Prof. Dr. D. Cochran). 2008 he finalized his "Habilitation" (venia legendi) in dental medicine and was appointed at the University of Zürich. In 2011 he became his PhD doctorate degree of the University of Amsterdam, ACTA dental school, The Netherlands. In 2013 he worked as Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA. In 2015 he has been promoted to full Professorship for Implantology at the University of Zurich. He is an accomplished and internationally renowned lecturer and researcher, best known for his work in the field of hard and soft tissue management and his research on new technologies in implant dentistry. He is currently Treasurer of the EAO, Past President of the Swiss Society of Reconstructive Dentistry, member of the Board of Directors of the Osteology Foundation and active Member of the EAED.

Professor Niklaus P. Lang is the author of more than 520 publications. He holds four honorary doctorates and honorary membership of more than 10 national and international associations. In 1968 he was awarded the Swiss Dental Association’s renowned Prix Louis Metzger and in 1992, he received the IADR’s Basic Science in Periodontal Disease Award. He is a past president of the ITI and the Swiss Society for Periodontology (SSP) and was Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Oral Implants Research until 2016. He is active in clinical research related to implant dentistry, periodontology, etiology and pathogenesis of peri-implant infections, risk evaluation, wound healing and oral microbiology.

Dr. Tomas Linkevicius has received DDS degree in 2000 in Kaunas University, Lithuania. In 2004 he finished post-graduate program in prosthodontics in Vilnius University. In 2009 he has defended theses “The influence of mucosal tissue thickness on crestal bone stability around dental implants” and received PhD degree in Riga Stradins University, Latvia. Currently, dr. Tomas Linkevicius serves as Assoc. Professor in Institute of Odontology, Vilnius University. He also works in private practice “Vilnius Implantology Center” and is a founder of private research center “Vilnius Research Group”. Dr. Tomas Linkevicius serves as a reviewer in dental journals, like “International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants”, “Journal of Periodontology”, “Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research” and “Journal of Clinical Periodontology”. He is the author and co-author of many articles in international journals, indexed in PubMed.

Iva Milinkovic is Associate Professor at the Department of Periodontics, Belgrade School of Dental Medicine.  She graduated from the University of Belgrade in 2006.  Dr. Milinkovic received her PhD title at the same institution in 2011 and completed her residency program in Periodontology in 2014. She was awarded ITI Scholarship in 2012, spending one year at the Rome, Italy, under mentorship of Dr. Luca Cordaro. From 2014. to 2020., she was a member of Junior Committee (JC) of the European Association for Osseointegration (EAO). Dr. Milinkovic is member of EFP, EAO and ITI.

Michael A. Pikos, DDS, is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Ohio State University College of Dentistry and Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and a clinical associate professor at the Department of Periodontology and the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He is the author of Bone Augmentation in Implant Dentistry (Quintessence, 2019), serves on the editorial boards of several journals, and has lectured extensively on dental implants in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Dr Pikos is the founder and CEO of the Pikos Institute and maintains a private practice limited to implant surgery in Trinity, Florida.

Prof Dr Bjarni Pjetursson received his DDS from the University of Iceland in 1990. From 1990 to 2000 he worked as a general dentist in his private clinic in Iceland. In 2000 he started his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He received his specialist certificate (EFP & SSP) and Masters of Advanced Studies in Periodontology and Doctorate in Dentistry from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bern. From 2003 to 2005 he did his postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at the University of Bern. From 2005 he was Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Periodontology and Fixed Prosthodontics, University of Bern, and from 2009 to 2014 the Dean of the Faculty of Odontology, University of Iceland. Presently he is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry, University of Iceland, and a Titular Professor at the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Prof Dr Pjetursson is a board member of EAO, an ITI Fellow, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Prosthodontics, and member of the editorial board of Clinical Oral Implants Research. He has published extensively in and given over 700 lectures in 50 countries around the world. His research interests are clinical studies in implant dentistry and evidenced-based evaluation of different treatment modalities in implant and prosthetic dentistry.

Prof Marc Quirynen graduated as a dentist in 1980 from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, where he went on to complete training in periodontology and obtain his PhD. In 1990, he was appointed as a professor at Catholic University and is currently Chairman of the Department of Periodontology. His research focuses on simplification and optimization of periodontal therapy, and over the past decade, he has explored platelet concentrates in soft and hard tissue regeneration. Prof Quirynen has published over 450 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and serves on several editorial boards, including for the Journal of Clinical Periodontology and Clinical Oral implants Research. His most inspiring lectures deal with the clinical benefits of L-PRF and the prevention of peri-implantitis.

Franck Renouard is graduated of the Dental University of Paris V in 1982. He was assistant of Jean-François Tulasne in the Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Team of Paul Tessier from 1983 to 1988 in Paris. He has published several articles and book chapters. He is author of 3 Text Books with Bo Rangert. The first one " Risk Factors in Implant Dentistry: Simplified Clinical Analysis for predictable Treatment" was published in 10 languages. His new book, co-written with a professional pilot, is about Human Factors and medical errors. He lectures intensively on Simplification on Implants Dentistry (including short implants), Complications, Biomechanics and Bone Grafting procedure. Dr. Renouard was elected to the European Association for Osseointegration executive board in Amsterdam in 2000, and is Past President-for the organization (2006-2008). He is in Private Practice in Paris limited of Oral and Implant Surgery. He is visiting Professor at the Medicine Faculty of Lieges, Belgium.

Isabella Rocchietta, DDS, MSc, is an honorary senior research associate to the Department of Periodontology and a lecturer for the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London. She is an elected board member of the European Academy for Osseointegration and a member of the Experts Council of the Osteology Foundation. She is the author of several national and international peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Dr Rocchietta performs clinical work limited to periodontics and implant dentistry in London and Milan and lectures internationally.

Irena Sailer, Prof Dr med dent, is chair of the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva and adjunct associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In 2019, she received an Honorary Skou Professorship of digital dental technologies, fixed and implant prosthodontics, and biomaterials at Aarhus University, Denmark. Dr Sailer is editor-in-chief of The International Journal of Prosthodontics and coauthor of over 150 peer-reviewed publications as well as the books Fixed Restorations: A Clinical Guide to the Selection of Materials and Fabrication Technology (Quintessence, 2021) and Color in Dentistry (2017). She holds several patents on esthetic coatings of dental/medical devices and a digital dental splint.

Shakeel Shahdad is a Consultant and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital, and Barts & The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. He is the Lead for postgraduate implant training. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, the current Chairman of the ITI UK & Ireland Section, and a Diplomate of The British Society of Oral Implantology. He is also the Immediate Past Chairman for the Advisory Board in Implant Dentistry for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics. Apart from the specialist restorative treatment, his areas of particular interest include aesthetic implant dentistry and management of complex restorative cases including functional and aesthetic rehabilitation of patients with hypodontia and toothwear. Shakeel specialises in treating patients requiring complex and advanced restorative treatment including surgical placement and restoration with dental implants. He is active in clinical research and has secured various research grants. He is a co-author of a textbook in periodontology and implant dentistry, besides publishing in peer-reviewed journals. He also runs a multi-specialist referral practice in the West End of London.

Massimo Simion, MD, DDS, is a professor and chairman of the Department of Periodontology at the University of Milan School of Dentistry. He is also a past president and member of the Council of the European Academy of Osseointegration. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Periodontology, The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry, and Clinical Oral Implants Research. Dr Simion has published several scientific papers and lectures internationally on periodontology, osseointegration, and bone regeneration.

Ali Tahmaseb graduated in dentistry from the University of Ghent (Belgium) in 1993. He went on to take an orthodontics program in France as well as various training programs in oral surgery and implant dentistry throughout Europe and the USA between 1996 and 2000. In 2011 he completed his PhD program at ACTA under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Daniel Wismeijer, where he also now teaches at the special master program for oral implantology as an Associate Professor. He is co-founder of a novel concept in guided surgery and primary investigator in this field at the University of Amsterdam. Ali Tahmaseb is an NVOI (Dutch Implantology Society) registered implant dentist and works in referral offices in Netherlands and Belgium. He has been an ITI Fellow since 2008 and has participated in several education, Consensus meetings and research projects in different areas in implant dentistry. His main research areas are in guided surgery, CAD/CAM, bone regeneration around endosseous implants and guided bone regeneration. He has authored and co-authored a number of publications and lectured internationally.

Prof Dr med dent Hendrik Terheyden is head physician at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Helios Hospital in Kassel, Germany. Hendrik Terheyden studied dentistry from 1983 to 1989 at the University of Kiel. In 1989, he was a staff physician for the Navy in Flensburg. From 1989-1992 he studied human medicine at the University of Kiel. In 1993 he became a specialist in oral surgery and in 1997 a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery with the additional title of plastic surgery (1999). In 1999 he completed his PhD (Habilitation) at the University of Kiel. He received the Wassmund Prize of the German Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (DGMKG). In 2004, he became an adjunct professor at Kiel University. From 2009 to 2012, he was president of the German Society for Implantology, and from 2017 to 2019, he was Chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Working Group of the German Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (DGZMK). Since 2006, Prof Terheyden has been section editor of the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and since 2012 he has been editor in chief of the International Journal of Implant Dentistry. Since 2021, he has served on the board of the Working Group of Senior Hospitalists of the German Society for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Jochen Tunkel completed five years of training in periodontology, graduating as a specialist in periodontology (German Fachzahnarzt). He then moved to Professor Khoury's clinic, where he completed his training as an oral surgery specialist (German Fachzahnarzt) and Master of Oral Medicine in Implantology. During his 3-year postgraduate program he learned the shell technique in detail. During this time, his also focused on soft tissue management for large augmentations and implant-augmentative rehabilitation of periodontally severely compromised patients. After opening his own practice in 2007, he focused his work on the further development of the shell technique. To this end, he initially conducted work on augmentative relining with Dr. Luca de Stavola. Since 2018, he has been working intensively on the allogeneic shell techniqueand has helped it to achieve a breakthrough. In particular, he has focused on the basic principles of allogeneic and autologous shell techniques that improve the success of these methods.

Stefan Vandeweghe completed his studies in dentistry at Ghent University in 2006 and subsequently specialized in oral implantology. In 2010, he obtained his PhD with his thesis “Factors affecting bone remodeling around surface-modified Southern Implants”. From 2010 to 2011, Dr. Vandeweghe was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Malmö, Sweden, before he returned to Belgium, where he started his private practice. In addition, he continued his research at Ghent University, where he became Professor and Head of the department of Reconstructive Dentistry in 2017.

Dr Piero Venezia graduated with honours in 1989 from the University of Bari, Italy with a degree in Dentistry. In 2003, he specialized in Prosthetics at the University of Siena, Italy and in Prosthodontics at the University of Bari, Italy, where he has also lectured. He is Lecturer of postgraduate programmes at the Universities of Siena, Genoa, Naples, Bari, Foggia, Catania and Rome, and Contract Professor in Dental Prosthodontics at the School of Dentistry of the University of Catania. He is an active member of the AIOP (Accademia Italiana di Odontoiatria Protesica), IADDM (International Academy for Digital Dental Medicine), Digital Dental Society, DI&RA (Digital Implant & Restorative Academy), and Fellow of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). Venezia has authored several scientific papers on national and international journals. He currently works as a freelance professional in Bari, where he focuses his clinical and scientific activities on Prosthetics, Removable Prosthetics, and Implant Prosthetics.

Dr. Stijn Vervaeke received his dentistry degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2007, continued his specialist education in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Ghent University and finished his PhD in 2014. Dr. Vervaeke combines a private practice with a position as Associate Professor in the bachelor-master program in dentistry and the specialist program periodontology and oral implantology at Ghent University. His research focuses on alveolar ridge preservation, soft tissue management and prevention of periimplantitis. He is published in international peer-reviewed journals, lectures at national and international conferences and is President of the Flemish Accreditation Committee Periodontology.

Martin Wanendeya graduated from the University of Bristol in 1995. Since 2004 he has been a partner at Ten Dental, an interdisciplinary specialist referral practice in Clapham, South London, where his work is limited to implant and aesthetic dentistry. He is a lecturer on the Masters in Aesthetics program at Goethe University Frankfurt and tutor on the diploma in implant dentistry program at the Royal College of Surgeons, England, having been awarded the diploma at advanced level. He has a special interest on digital implant dentistry and digital smile design and has lectured internationally on all aspects of implant dentistry.
