EOS Annual Congress 2023: 98th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society

Dear friends and colleagues,

It is my great honour to invite you to the 98^th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society, which will take place in Oslo, Norway, from 11-15 June, 2023.

The scientific programme offers a range of topics that will be of interest to all participants.

Evidence-based orthodontics connects orthodontic practitioners and researchers and promotes the use of the best available evidence to make informed clinical decisions. Scientific developments and clinical management of impacted teeth, as well as the role of periodontium in orthodontics, will be some of the highlights. Free topic sessions are open to new and recurrent orthodontic themes. The keynote speakers are experts in the respective fields, and they will provide an excellent scientific and clinical update.

The future of our specialty lies in the hands of orthodontic residents. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you participate in the making of this congress. We encourage you to submit your research for oral presentations or posters and take part in the social events for networking.

The last EOS Congress held in Oslo was in 1972. Since then, Oslo has gone through a lot of change. It is one of Europe’s fastest growing cities with innovative architecture and modern neighbourhoods. On a day in Oslo, you can experience excellent food, music and museums, and, if you prefer, a quiet moment in the forest and a dip in the fjord.
