He is a dentist and a specialist in implantology and esthetic dentistry Master of Science in Oral Implantology. He obtained the title of doctor in 1993 after graduating from the faculty of dentistry at the Medical Academy in Gdańsk. Since 1996, he has been running his own dental practice specializing in esthetic dentistry and implantology. He is a unsurpassed specialist, treasury of vast knowledge and elite of world implantology. He is an esthetic dentistry specialist. He is also a precursor to the use of 3D printing in Polish dentistry. He has over 25 years of experience in the complex process of implant placement. In his daily work, he puts the patient’s good first. The key to his success is not only the vast knowledge acquired around the world and many years of practice, but above all the active use and understanding of implant planning. He is an invaluable leader of an innovative company, entering a huge step on the dental market with templates for computer navigation – Dental Print 3D. He completed the prestigious postgraduate education program in Seattle at Dr. John Kois. He is an international lecturer in implantology, controlled bone regeneration and esthetics. He is also an international expert and a teacher of dental photography. Vincent Fehmer, MDT, received his dental technical education and degree in Stuttgart, Germany, before completing fellowships in Great Britain and the United States in Oral Design–certified dental technical laboratories. After working several years in such a laboratory in Berlin, he received his MDT degree and became the chief dental technician at the Clinic for Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics in Zurich, Switzerland. Since 2015, he has been a dental technician at the Clinic for Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials in Geneva, Switzerland. He also runs his own laboratory in Lausanne. Mr Fehmer is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), and a member of the Oral Design group as well as the European Association of Dental Technology (EADT) and the German Society of Esthetic Dentistry (DGÄZ). He is a sought-after international speaker and has received many honors for his work, including the Kenneth Rudd Award from the American Prosthodontic Society. He has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals within the field of fixed prosthodontics and digital dental technology, contributed to many books, and recently coauthored the book Fixed Restorations: A Clinical Guide to the Selection of Materials and Fabrication Technology with Irena Sailer and Bjarni Pjetursson. Mr Fehmer also serves as Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, Section Editor for the International Journal of Prosthodontics, and co-chair for the 26thInternational Symposium on Ceramics (June 2023).

Dr. Bertrand Khayat received his DDS degree at the University of Paris. He obtained his Certificate in Endodontics and his Masters of Science at the University of Washington in 1988. A pioneer in the use of the microscope in Endodontics, he also designed several surgical instruments including ultrasonic tips for surgical retropreparation. In addition to his extensive experience and expertise in Endodontic Surgery, he lectures internationally while maintaining his private practice in Conventional and Surgical Endodontics in Paris.
Doctor Stefen Koubi graduated from the University of Marseille, France, in 1998. He has held the position of Associate Professor in the Restorative Department of Marseille University since 2008 and received his PhD in 2011. He maintains a private practice in Marseille and in Paris. His main areas of interest are esthetic rehabilitation for cosmetic or functional reasons (worn dentition). He has been invited to many prestigious esthetic academies to lecture on simple ways to achieve high-quality esthetic dentistry. He is an invited professor in many esthetic postgraduate programs. Dr Koubi received the Gold Molar title from the students of his university (best teacher of the year) in 2012, and the title of Best French Speaker the same year. Since 2012 he has been a member of Style Italiano community in charge of indirect topics. He founded in 2013 L'Institut de la facette, a private training center focused on smile design for worn dentition and cosmetic rehabilitations. He is the author or co-author of many scientific articles and case reports on esthetic dentistry.
Consultant/Honorary Senior Lecturer in Endodontics
Shanon divides his time between specialist practice in central London, and teaching in the Endodontic Postgraduate Unit at King's College London. His primary research interests include the factors influencing tooth survival, management of root resorption, dental trauma, and the applications of CBCT in Endodontics. He has supervised over 35 Masters and PhD students. His expertise in endodontic imaging led to him being the lead author of the European Society of Endodontology's position statement on CBCT in Endodontics. Shanon is regularly invited to lecture nationally and internationally on a variety of endodontic themes. He has published over 60 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals, (co-)authored 15 book chapters, and co-edited three endodontic textbooks.
Prof Dr Bjarni Pjetursson received his DDS from the University of Iceland in 1990. From 1990 to 2000 he worked as a general dentist in his private clinic in Iceland. In 2000 he started his postgraduate training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He received his specialist certificate (EFP & SSP) and Masters of Advanced Studies in Periodontology and Doctorate in Dentistry from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bern. From 2003 to 2005 he did his postgraduate training in Prosthodontics at the University of Bern. From 2005 he was Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Periodontology and Fixed Prosthodontics, University of Bern, and from 2009 to 2014 the Dean of the Faculty of Odontology, University of Iceland. Presently he is a Professor and Chairman of the Department of Reconstructive Dentistry, University of Iceland, and a Titular Professor at the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Prof Dr Pjetursson is a board member of EAO, an ITI Fellow, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Prosthodontics, and member of the editorial board of Clinical Oral Implants Research. He has published extensively in and given over 700 lectures in 50 countries around the world. His research interests are clinical studies in implant dentistry and evidenced-based evaluation of different treatment modalities in implant and prosthetic dentistry.
Irena Sailer, Prof Dr med dent, is chair of the Division of Fixed Prosthodontics and Biomaterials at the University of Geneva and adjunct associate professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In 2019, she received an Honorary Skou Professorship of digital dental technologies, fixed and implant prosthodontics, and biomaterials at Aarhus University, Denmark. Dr Sailer is editor-in-chief of The International Journal of Prosthodontics and coauthor of over 150 peer-reviewed publications as well as the books Fixed Restorations: A Clinical Guide to the Selection of Materials and Fabrication Technology (Quintessence, 2021) and Color in Dentistry (2017). She holds several patents on esthetic coatings of dental/medical devices and a digital dental splint.
Dr. Schupp graduated in dentistry in 1985 from the University of Münster and continued his studies here as a postgraduate student of orthodontics under the direction of Prof. Dr. U. Ehmer. Collaboration in the orthodontic private practice of Dr. D.E. Toll followed and since 1990, he has been in private practice as an orthodontics specialist in Cologne, Germany. In his office, over 6000 patients have been treated with aligner orthodontics. He is certified in Manual Medicine and Osteopathy for Orthodontics. Dr. Schupp is a founding member and past president of the German Board of Orthodontics and Orofacial Orthopedics, and a board member of the German Society of Aligner Orthodontics (DGAO). He is also the founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Aligner Orthodontics (JAO) and an advisory board member for the periodical Manuelle Medizin. He has published various articles concerning orthodontics, function, and pain therapy. He has written the books Funktionslehre in der Kieferorthopädie and Kraniomandibuläres und muskuloskelletales System, as well as the first edition of Aligner Orthodontics, published in 2016 (Quintessence Publishing) and translated in several languages. Dr. Schupp is also visiting professor at the Capital University, Beijing, China.
Ulrike Uhlmann studied dentistry at Leipzig University from 2005 to 2010. Even during her studies she showed a keen interest in children's dentistry. After her examinations in 2010, she worked in Halle/Saale for 4 years, during which time she learned about and came to love the whole gamut of pediatric dentistry. Interdisciplinary work with midwives, pediatricians, and speech therapists was and is a cornerstone of her professional ethos. At present she works on the staff of a family dental practice in Leipzig. As a speaker, she is also involved in the continuing professional development of midwives, speech therapists, educators, and other related professional groups in the field of pediatric dentistry. Together with a Leipzig midwives practice, she has also launched a parents workshop where relevant topics concerning children's oral health are explained to pregnant women and parents, raising their awareness. She is married and has four children.
Istvan Urban, DMD, MD, PhD, teaches implant dentistry in the graduate program at Loma Linda University in California and is also an adjunct clinical associate professor in the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan. He has published widely on bone regeneration and soft tissue reconstructive surgery around dental implants and is the author of the textbooks Vertical and Horizontal Ridge Augmentation: New Perspectives (Quintessence, 2017) and Vertical 2: The Next Level of Hard and Soft Tissue Augmentation (2022). Dr Urban is licensed in the state of California and maintains a private practice in Budapest, Hungary.
Otto Zuhr studied dentistry at the University of Aachen from 1986 to 1992. He is board-certified specialist in Periodontology of the German Society of Periodontology (DGParo) and runs a private office together with Marc Hürzeler in Munich, Germany dedicated to periodontology and implant dentistry. With more than 25 years of clinical experience and teaching practice, Dr. Zuhr has become a proven expert in his field well beyond the European borders. From 2007 to 2014 he was board member of the German Society of Periodontology (DGParo) and he`s presently holding an associate professorship position at the Department of Periodontology of the Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany (Director: Prof. Peter Eickholz). Otto Zuhr has written several refereed scientific articles in the field of periodontology and implant dentistry. His book "Plastic Esthetic Periodontal and Implant Surgery" was published by Quintessence Publishing in 2012. His research activities are focused on oral soft tissue wound healing and oral soft tissue reconstruction.
