Prof Ronaldo Hirata, DDS, MS, PhD, finished his DDS at the Federal University of Parana in Curitiba, Brazil, before completing a 2-year operative dentistry specialty at the same university. To improve his scientific knowledge, he then finished a master’s degree in dental materials at the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil, with a research thesis working with glass and polyethylene fibers to improve mechanical properties of composites. Following, his PhD in restorative dentistry at the State University of Rio de Janeiro focused on the transmittance, reflectance, and fluorescence of composite resins, Prof Hirata undertook a postdoctoral certificate at New York University (NYU) working with plasma application on dentin surfaces and bonding strength analysis. Now, he is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomaterials at NYU with a secondary appointment in the Department of Cariology. Prof Hirata has lectured in more than 40 countries and published more than 100 papers in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. His previous books (TIPS, Artes Medicas, 2014; Shortcuts, Quintessence, 2017) were also published in three languages. Prof Hirata maintains a private practice limited to esthetic dentistry in Curitiba.
Prof. Dr. Hirsch hat einen Doktor in Neurowissenschaften und ein Diplom in Physiologie. Sein Großvater ist der Nobelpreisträger Werner Heisenberg.
Zum 1. Januar 2020 wurde Prof. Dr. Martin Christian Hirsch einer der international führenden Experten im Bereich der Künstlichen Intelligenz auf die neu eingerichtete Professur „Künstliche Intelligenz in der Medizin“ am Fachbereich Medizin der Philipps-Universität Marburg sowie des Universitätsklinikums Marburg berufen.
Dr Josefine Hirschfeld, Dr med dent, FHEA, is Academic Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham Dental School & Hospital, UK.
Dr. Hočevar graduated in 1996 from the Medical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, where he received the Prešeren Award and the Oražen Prize for the top graduate of his generation. In 2017, he became the first dentist in Slovenia to be titled a Specialist in Biological Dentistry and Ceramic Implants. In the academic year 2021/2022, he successfully completed the 2nd Level University Master in Oral Implantology at the International University of Health Sciences in Rome. His main focus is on the immediate implantation of ceramic implants, especially in the aesthetic zone. He has developed a unique surgical technique that can improve the quality and appearance of the soft tissue after immediate implantation. Additionally, he regularly publishes peer-reviewed articles in the field of ceramic implants. Dr. Hočevar enjoys sharing his knowledge of biological dentistry at dental conferences and to the general public worldwide.

Dr. med. Marco Hördt, Facharzt für Innere Medizin, Ernährungsmedizin und Naturheilverfahren, unterhält eine Privatpraxis in Bielefeld und hat mehr als 25 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Anwendung der Mesotherapie als Symbiose aus Schulmedizin und Naturheilkunde. Marie Thérèse Hosey is Head of Paediatric Dentistry at King's College London and Honorary Consultant at King's College London and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, London. She qualified from the University of Glasgow in 1985 and subsequently completed her MSc (1991) and DDS (1997) postgraduate degrees there. She read Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Glasgow before joining King's College London in 2008. Her research interests are the pharmacological and behavioural management of anxious children, especially those who require general anaesthesia, as well as children with clefts. She has received research funding, mainly for clinical trials, from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) and the Scottish Chief Scientist Office.
Kevin D. Huff, DDS, is a practicing general dentist and orofacial pain specialist. He earned his dental degree from The Ohio State University where he also pursued advanced training in removable prosthodontics. Dr Huff is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and has earned the status of Fellow and Master in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). He has served on the faculty at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, Mercy Hospital General Practice Residency, and Spear Education, where he is currently a visiting faculty member. Dr Huff has published many articles, is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists, and has been awarded the Lifetime Learning and Service Recognition Award from the AGD. Dr Huff is also an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, and he has been practicing dentistry in rural Ohio for 25 years.
