Multidrug-resistant strains (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus - MRSA) represent one of the major causes of nosocomial infections worldwide, leading to high mortality rates. Different surfaces of dental medicine equipment were analysed to evaluate the presence of methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and/or MRSA.
