Dr Araújo is a Periodontist working both in private practice and at The State University of Maringa, Brazil. He completed his PhD at The University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is the Chairman of the Perio/Implant Research Unit, State University of Maringá. He is an ITI Fellow and Osteology Foundation Board member. He is member of the editorial board of several journals.

Lyndon Cooper, DDS, PhD, practices as a prosthodontist in Chicago and is the associate dean for research and head of the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in Chicago. Dr Cooper is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and served as president of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) as well as chair of the ACP Education Foundation. He is the recipient of several awards, including the 2016 Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontists’ Schweitzer Award for Research and the 2017 International Association for Dental Research/Academy of Osseointegration Innovation in Implant Sciences Award. Dr Cooper’s work has appeared in hundreds of national and international presentations and over 190 peer-reviewed publications.

Myron Nevins, DDS, is an associate clinical professor of periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a clinical professor of periodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. He is a past president of the American Academy of Periodontology and a former director and chairman of the American Board of Periodontology. He is also the coeditor-in-chief of The International Journal of Periodontics & Restorative Dentistry. Dr Nevins maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implantology in Swampscott, Massachusetts, and is the founder and president of Perio Imp Research, Inc.

Franck Renouard ist Oralchirurg. Er inseriert seit 1987 Dentalimplantate und ist an deren Entwicklung und Förderung in Frankreich und darüber hinaus beteiligt. Von 2004 bis 2006 war er Präsident der European Association of Osseointegration (EAO). Er ist Autor zahlreicher wissenschafftlicher Artikel und sein erstes Buch über Risikofaktoren in der dentalen Implantologie ist mittlerweile in zehn Sprachen erschienen. Er hält weltweit Vorträge und gibt Unterricht. Nachdem er sich in die Fliegerei verliebt hatte, machte er seinen Hubschrauberpilotenschein im Jahr 1995. Der Absturz mit einem von ihm geflogenen Hubschrauber hat sein Interesse für den menschlichen Faktor geweckt.
