Dr Agliardi graduated with honors from the University of Milan in 1994, specializing in medicine and surgery. At the same university, he attained a specialization in maxillofacial surgery in 2000 and a specialization in orthodontics in 2005. Since 2009, Dr Agliardi has been in charge of the Special Rehabilitation Surgery department at the Department of Dentistry of IRCCS San Raffaele of Milan, and he is also a professor in the Special Rehabilitation Surgery Department at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University. For over 15 years, he has been involved in the implant-prosthetic rehabilitation of compromised patients with tilted and zygomatic implants.
Dr. Alessandro Agnini graduated in 1989 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy. He has private dental practices in Modena and Sassuolo, Emilia Romagna, Italy and specializes in fixed prosthetics, periodontology and Implantology. He attended a two year program of studies with Gianfranco Carnevale and Gianfranco Di Febo. In 2002 he obtained a diploma in the Multidisciplinary Treatment of Periodontal Patients from the University of Bern, Switzerland. From 2006 he has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Orthodontics. He is a lecturer of specialist courses at the University of Foggia, Puglia, Italy. He is the author of many Italian and international scientific publications and lectures frequently at national congresses in Italy. Since 2007 he has been scientific director of an annual course in Fixed Prosthetics, Periodontology and Implantology based at his own private studios in Emilia Romagna, Italy.
Dr. Andrea Mastrorosa Agnini graduated in 2007 from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.Dr Agnini works in private practice in Modena and Sassuolo, Emilia Romagna, Italy, following his brother, Alessandro, focusing on Fixed Prosthetic Dentistry, Periodontology, and Implant Dentistry. He attended the NYU College of Dentistry in the years 2009 - 2011 having, among others, as teachers and mentors Doctor Dennis Tarnow, Doctor Christian Stappert, Doctor Stephen Chu and Doctor Michael Bral. Mario Aimetti is the director of the Periodontology Department CIR Dental School at the University of Turin, where he is also the chairman of both the under- and postgraduate periodontology programs. He is an active member and president of SIdP 2018–2019.

Tomas Albrektsson joined P I Branemark's team in 1967 and has since been active in applied osseointegration research of oral, craniofacial and orthopedic implants. Albrektsson graduated from Gothenburg University (MD:1975; PhD:1979) where he has served as Professor & Head of the department of Biomaterials from 1986. He has been a visiting professor at Eastman Dental, University College of London since 1998, Laney visiting professor of the Mayo clinic in the US in 2008, is a visiting professor in the prosthodontics department of Malmö University and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He has presented more than 1100 lectures and published scientific and clinical papers in various peer-reviewed journals.
Prof. Gil Alcoforado has dedicated his life to scientific research in period ontology and implant rehabilitation. His career spanning 35 years has been fulfilled with several lecturing positions at some of the most reputable universities in the dental area in Europe and USA. He has also been actively engaged with an intensive social entrepreneurship and volunteering work in oral care, running oral hygiene instruction campaigns to parents and children in countries where help is paramount. In 1985, Dr. Gil Alcoforado became the first periodontist in Portugal. That same year he joined the Philip Dear Foundation and is today the Chairman of the International College of Dentists – European Section. He was also the founder and former president of the Portugese Periodontal Society as well as former President of the European Federation of Periodontology.
