Dr. Nicholas Luke Egbert DDS, MDS, FACP received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology at the University of Utah. He then completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Fascinated with complex reconstructive implant dentistry, he then pursued a full-time three-year residency in Advanced Surgical Prosthodontics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. 

During his residency, Dr. Egbert earned his Masters of Dental Science evaluating the accuracy of CT-generated implant guides. In addition to his Master’s research, he leads clinical research projects comparing the efficacy of modern bone grafting techniques. Striving to make each patient experience as comfortable as possible, Dr. Egbert is certified to provide sage, and IV moderate sedation. Most importantly, Dr. Egbert is one of four board-certified prosthodontists in the state of Utah. Dr. Egbert is the only board-certified prosthodontist in the state who completed advanced surgical implant and bone graft training in his residency. He currently serves as the vice president of the Utah Prosthodontic Society.

Dr. Egbert maintains a private practice limited to surgical prosthodontics in Salt Lake City, Utah. In October 2013, Dr. Egbert was one of 5 Dental Implant Specialists in the nation recognized by his colleagues (American College of Prosthodontics –ACP) and was awarded the “Prosthodontic Private Practice Award.” His emphasis and passion are for image-guided, digitally-assisted, dental implant treatment planning, surgery, and restoration. Dr. Egbert also provides continuing education courses and lectures regularly.

Dr. Egbert is currently an attending faculty member overseeing IV sedation, extractions, bone grafting, dental implant surgery, and restoration at the University of Utah Hospital General Practice Residency (GRP) and Roseman Dental’s Advanced Education General Dentistry (AEGD) on Monday afternoons. He enjoys teaching and giving back to the community in efforts of elevating the standard of dental care provided to the public.

Hendrik Eggers ist Physiotherapeut (B. Sc.) in Lüneburg. Seit Längerem widmet er sich intensiv dem Flossing und seinen praktischen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.

Peter Eickholz ist Direktor der Poliklinik für Parodontologie des Zentrums der Zahn-, Mund- und Kieferheilkunde (Carolinum) an der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. Er ist Mitglied im Editorial Board des Journal of Clinical Periodontology, im wissenschaftlichen Beirat der Deutschen Zahnärztlichen Zeitschrift und Chefredakteur der Zeitschrift PARODONTOLOGIE, engagiert sich in verschiedenen Fachgesellschaften und hat auf dem Gebiet der Parodontologie vielfach publiziert und referiert.

Hanan Elgendy, BDS, MS, ist stellvertretende Lehrbeauftragte in der Fakultät für Zahnmedizin, Bereich chirurgische Zahnmedizin an der East Carolina University (ECU) School of Dental Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, und leitet dort auch die Lehrveranstaltungen für zahnmedizinische Anatomie, zahnmedizinische Fotografie und fortgeschrittene ästhetische Chirurgie. Dr. Elgendy erwarb ihren BDS an der Ain Shams University in Ägypten und war fünf Jahre lang in einer Privatpraxis tätig, bevor sie 2012 in die Vereinigten Staaten zog. Sie schloss 2016 einen Master in chirurgischer Zahnmedizin am University of Iowa College of Dentistry ab und war dort bis zu ihrem Wechsel zur ECU im Jahr 2019 als stellvertretende Lehrbeauftragte in der Fakultät für chirurgische Zahnmedizin tätig. Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt in der Förderung der studentischen Ausbildung in den Bereichen Dentalanatomie, Dentalfotografie, CAD/CAM und kosmetische Zahnmedizin. Dr. Elgendy hat ihre Karriere der Ausbildung in restaurativer Zahnheilkunde gewidmet und ist stolz darauf, wie sehr ihre Studierenden es schätzen, Zähne zeichnen zu lernen.

Theodore Eliades graduated from the School of Dentistry, University of Athens, Greece, and completed the Orthodontic postgraduate program of the Ohio State University, USA, where he also earned a Master of Science degree. He obtained a Doctorate in Medical Sciences from the University of Athens, School of Medicine, and a PhD in Biomaterials from the University of Manchester, UK. He was Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, from 2005 until 2011, when he assumed the post of Professor and Director of the Clinic of Orthodontics Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Since 1996 he has maintained a private practice in Athens, Greece.

Dr. Eliav ist Professor und Direktor des Eastman Institute for Oral Health, Stellvertretender Direktor für Mundgesundheit am University of Rochester Medical Center und stellvertretender Dekan für Mundgesundheit an der dortigen School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Eliav machte seinen Abschluss in Zahnmedizin (1991), seinen Master of Science (1995) und promovierte (2004) an der Hebrew University and Hadassah in Jerusalem. Er spezialisierte sich auf Zahnmedizin an der Hebrew University, Hadassah Jerusalem, Israel (1991-1995) und wurde im klinischen und grundlagenwissenschaftlichen Forschungsprogramm des National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, USA (1995-1997) ausgebildet. Seit 2008 ist er Chefredakteur von Quintessence International und seit 2018 Mitherausgeber des Journal of Oral & Facial Pain and Headache.

Dr. med. Michael K. H. Elies Facharzt für Allgemeinmedizin mit den Zusatzbezeichnungen Homöopathie und Naturheilverfahren, in eigener Praxis niedergelassen; Dozent der Deutschen Ärztegesellschaft für Akupunktur (DÄGfA).

Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Elzer war Studiengangsleiter des Bachelor- und Masterstudiengangs Physiotherapie der Universität Marburg und Hochschule Fulda, wo er von 1994 bis 2017 die Professor für "Sozialpsychiatrie, Psychotherapie, Beratung" bekleidete. Das Thema Kommunikation ist ein wichtiges Thema seiner Lehre, Forschung und zahlreicher Publikationen. Fundierte theoretische Kenntnisse, kritische Reflexion und Praxisbezug waren und sind ihm ein zentrales Anliegen.
