Sandra Tai, BDS, MS, ist seit dem Jahr 2000 Invisalign-zertifizierte Kieferorthopädin und derzeit unter den Invisalign Top 1%/ Diamond Providern. Sie hat bereits über 1500 Fälle mithilfe von Invisalign behandelt. Als Redaktionsmitglied des Journal of Aligner Orthodontics und Mitglied der Align Tech Faculty in Nordamerika ist sie an mehreren klinischen Forschungsprojekten und klinischen Studien der FDA zu transparenten Alignern beteiligt. Sandra Tai ist zur Zeit Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthodontics und Koordinatorin für das Invisalign-Programm an der Universität von British Columbia in Vancouver. Auf internationaler Ebene hält sie zahlreiche Vorträge und spricht mit Kieferorthopäden auf der ganzen Welt über transparente Aligner und deren Potenzial. Sandra Tai ist Fellow des College of Dental Surgeons in British Columbia und Fellow des Royal College of Dentists, Kanada, sowie Mitglied mehrerer Berufsverbände. Deborah A. Termeie, DDS, is a clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology (ABP), and it was her experience preparing for the ABP qualifying exams that inspired her to write this book. Dr Termeie is also an editor and author of Avoiding and Treating Dental Complications: Best Practices in Dentistry (John Wiley & Sons, 2016) and has published on the topics of evidence-based dentistry and implantology. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Excellence in Implantology Research award from the California Society of Periodontics, and has been invited to participate in the American Academy of Periodontics Leadership, Engagement, Action, and Development (LEAD) Program. She maintains a private practice in Beverly Hills, California.
Douglas A. Terry is an educationist, administrator, researcher and specialist in Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He received his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch, Houston (1978). He is the holder of various academic positions with a number of universities worldwide. He is the founder and CEO of design Technique International and the Institute of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Houston, Texas.
He is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and an honorary member of the Indian Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He has served as a research associate for REALITY Research Lab and as a clinical associate for REALITY Publishing, and he is a member of the International Association for Dental Research.
He has received various professional awards and fellowships in the American and International College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Academy of Dental Facial Aesthetics. He is a member and the US vice president of Oral Design International. He is also an editorial member of numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals and has published over 230 articles on various topics in esthetic and restorative dentistry.
He has authored the textbook “Natural Aesthetics with Composite Resin” (Montage Media, 2004) and “Restoring with Flowables” (Quintessence 2017), among others. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on various subjects in restorative and esthetic dentistry and is a dental materials clinical research consultant for industry manufacturers.

Mahmoud Torabinejad, DMD, MSD, PhD, is currently the President and CEO of the Torabinejad Institute of Surgical Education and Research Venues in Irvine, California. He has teaching positions in endodontics at multiple schools and is the former professor of endodontics at multiple schools and is the former professor of endodontics and Director of Advanced Program in endodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He lectures internationally and has authored six textbooks and more than 350 publications. He is the #1 cited author in classic literature and regenerative endodontics in the field of endodontics. He is a past president of both the California Association of Endodontics and the American Association of Endodontists and has received numerous awards and accolades in the field of endodontics.
