The Congress Organising Committee (COC) is delighted to invite you to the 21st World Congress on Dental Traumatology (WCDT 2022), the most important, world-leading conference on dental traumatology that will be held in the next few years.
WCDT 2022 will take place at the Lisbon Congress Centre, Lisbon, Portugal, 11 – 14th May 2022, with pre-congress courses to be held on 11th May 2022.
The venue is a modern, purpose-built congress centre that offers several large auditoria ideally suited for the scientific programme. It also has several smaller meeting rooms, as well as a large exhibition space for sponsors and exhibitors.
The main theme of the congress will remain “Challenges, Opportunities and New Horizons in Dental Trauma” with a scientific programme specially dedicated to the memory of Jens Ove Andreasen. With the information gathered from surveys conducted with previous congress participants, society members and our corporate partners, we are planning a very exciting programme that will offer the latest clinical updates as well as the latest findings in the clinical, biological and material sciences associated with dental traumatology.
The programme includes dedicated times for participants to visit the Exhibition Hall and meet with Sponsors and Exhibitors.
World Congresses on Dental Traumatology are universally known as extraordinary meetings that combine the diagnosis, treatment and follow up care of patients who have sustained an oral or dental traumatic injury. WCDT 2022 will deliver an exciting programme on dental traumatology presented by an impressive assemblage of internationally renowned speakers from around the globe. We hope that you will take advantage of the opportunity to attend the congress, meet old and make new friends, and enjoy the beautiful city of Lisbon, Portugal.
The Congress will have broad appeal for a wide variety of scientists, general dentists and pre and postgraduate students with an interest in dental traumatology. In addition, a wide range of professionals from many dental specialties including Endodontics, Oral Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Periodontics will greatly benefit from the presentation of the latest advances in dental traumatology.
