1. Juni 2023 — 3. Juni 2023
Dear Members, Affiliates, and friends of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry,
It is our great pleasure to announce the 1st EAED Academy Meeting, which will be held from June 1st to June 3rd, 2023 in the legendary city of Cannes.
Cannes has always been a dream destination for many people. The South of France “l’art de vivre”, the beautiful landscape with its famous “pin parasol” and of course the magical Mediterranean Sea. For you we have selected the Hotel Martinez. It offers exactly what we were looking for and is certainly one of the best Hotels on the French Riviera.
The academy meeting brings together Active Members and Affiliates. It is held every two years in the spring, alternating with the Spring Meeting, which is open to all. The objective is to have a smaller audience to stimulate exchanges between members and affiliates around the speakers and lectures, to strengthen the camaraderie and relationships within the EAED family and continue to energize us all to improve the quality of our work, publications and impact in the profession to offer the best possible treatments to our patients. The quality of our group is unique in the profession, it is multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary and it includes many opinion leaders, extremely talented clinicians, scientists and academics, all striving for excellence.
The title of our meeting is ‘RED CARPET FOR DIGITAL & BIOLOGICAL ESTHETIC DENTISTRY’. The scientific and clinical lectures will focus on the core traditions that have made these EAED meetings so special, i.e. treatment concepts, techniques, and technologies. In Cannes, we will be rolling out the famous ‘Red Carpet’ of the Cannes Film Festival for dentistry that is not only digitally oriented but continues to embrace and progress in our understanding of the biological, functional and esthetic aspects.
The first day will be devoted to restorative dentistry with its biological issues and the contributions of digital technology. The second day will add the parameter of surrounding tissues and the use of implants associated with prosthetic restorations, and finally, on the last day we will add the biological and digital dimension of orthodontics in relation to the other disciplines to obtain the best esthetic results.
In addition to the scientific program, we will have time to share good moments, discussions and conviviality. We have worked hard in putting together social activities that promise memorable moments in some of the most beautiful local spots. The welcome reception and the gala dinner will be held in the most unforgettable sites.
We are looking forward to have an amazing time together in Cannes!
