Ich bin Physiotherapeut. Wobei ich mich gerade im Bereich Sport zusätzlich weiterqualifiziert und spezialisiert habe. Außerdem habe ich eine Ausbildung als Heilpraktiker im Bereich Physiotherapie absolviert.
1977 geboren, bin ich in Deutschland und Italien aufgewachsen. Meine Sportliebe hat mir mein italienischer Vater (aus Sardinien) mit in die Wiege gegeben.
Nach den Jugendjahren in Braunschweig, habe ich in Hamburg gelebt und dort nach meinem Abitur eine Ausbildung zum Physiotherapeuten gemacht. Neugier und Fleiß zeichnen mich aus. Ich qualifiziere mich kontinuierlich weiter.

Zu meinen zusätzlichen Qualifikationen gehören: Fortbildungen im Bereich osteopathische Therapieeansätze, Manuelle Therapie, Manuelle Lymphdrainage, Bobath Therapie, Vojta Therapie für Kinder und Erwachsene, McKenzie Therapie, Cyriax Therapie, Schmerztherapie nach Liebscher und Bracht, Bewegungslehre nach Liebscher und Bracht, Kinesiotaping, Rückenschullehrer…
Im Jahr 2014 habe ich mich für mehrere Wochen in den USA zu einer Weiterbildung beim Fitness-Guru Mark Verstegen aufgehalten. Mark Verstegens Konzept der Core Performance nutzte u. a. die deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft.
2015 habe ich erfolgreich eine Weiterbildung zum Physical Rehabilitation Trainer bei Bert van Wingerden abgeschlossen. Der renommierte Professor in Sports Physical Therapy und Sportscience an der City University of Los Angeles hat eigene Therapie- und Trainingsform entwickelt. Das Physical Rehabilitation Training eignet sich u. a. sehr gut für die Wirbelsäulenrehabilitation. Mir ist es wichtig Profisportlern, aber auch allen anderen Patienten bei der Wiederherstellung ihrer Fitness besonders schnell helfen zu können. Dazu ist dieser Ansatz ein weiterer zielführender Baustein.
Instructor für das FDM Modell nach Typaldos: Das Fasziendistorsionsmodell (FDM) nach Typaldos umfasst eine visuelle Diagnostik und verschiedene manuelle Behandlungstechniken. Die Körpersprache bzw. Schmerzgestik führt den Behandler zu der geeigneten Vorgehens- bzw. Therapieweise.
Entwicklung des Dynamic Flossing Konzepts: Das Dynamic Flossing eignet sich besonders gut zur Behandlung an verletzten Gelenken der Extremitäten. In unmittelbarer Nähe von bewegungseingeschränkten Gelenken werden dehnbare Bänder eng angelegt, sodass sie einen starken Zug ausüben. Während das Band angelegt ist, führt der Patient assistiert oder eigenständig Bewegungsübungen mit dem beeinträchtigten Gelenk aus. Nach dem Ablegen der “Manschette” zeigen sich dann oft erstaunliche Zugewinne an Mobilität.
Mitten im Leben – Marco Congia, sozial engagiert
Der Tod des ersten eigenen mit Vorfreude erwarteten Sohnes war eine weitere Zäsur. Für mich war er auch Anlass sich für die zu engagieren, auf deren tolle Arbeit ich in meiner Trauer aufmerksam geworden bin. Mit der Organisation eines Laufes für den Kinderhospizdienst Paderborn-Höxter konnte ich ein Zeichen setzen. Mittlerweile bin ich glücklicher Vater eines weiteren Sohnes und einer Tochter.
Dr. Stefano Conti graduated in odontology at University of Parma in 1989. After attending post-graduation annual courses in fixed prosthesis and implantology, he focused his studies on fixed prosthesis and attended several stages on implanto-prosthesis at University of Modena, then stages with Dr. J. Kois, Drs. M. and H. Salama, and Drs. G. Bruschi, A. Scipioni and G. Calesini. Dr. Conti is a teacher of the post-graduation course of implantology at University of Parma, and speaker and lecturer of implantology in many courses, congresses and conferences in Italy and abroad. His practice is in Reggio Emilia and Parma, focusing his work mainly on implanto-prosthetic rehabilitation.
Lyndon Cooper, DDS, PhD, practices as a prosthodontist in Chicago and is the associate dean for research and head of the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Illinois School of Dentistry in Chicago. Dr Cooper is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and served as president of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) as well as chair of the ACP Education Foundation. He is the recipient of several awards, including the 2016 Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontists’ Schweitzer Award for Research and the 2017 International Association for Dental Research/Academy of Osseointegration Innovation in Implant Sciences Award. Dr Cooper’s work has appeared in hundreds of national and international presentations and over 190 peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Luca Cordaro is chair of the Department of Periodontology and Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome. He graduated in Medicine at the University of Roma "La Sapienza" where he also got a degree in Dentistry. He holds a Ph.D. degree and is a certified specialist in oral surgery. He also works, together with his brother, in a private practice founded in 1957 by his father. Dr Cordaro is author or co- author of more than 70 papers published in italian or international journals and has lectured in Europe, Asia, North and South America. In 2007 he won the H. Goldman Prize for Clinical Research of the Italian Society of Periodontology. He is author of different book chapters and coauthor of the books "The SAC Classification in Implant Dentistry" and ITI Treatment Guide 7 published by Quintessence Publishing. He is active member of the Italian Society of Osseointegration and Fellow of the ITI (International Team for Implantology). In the ITI he serves as member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Study Club Committee and Chairrman for the Italian Section. He has been elected in the EAO Board in 2010 and serves as Chair of the Congress committee and Secretary General. His professional interests are Periodontology, Implantology and Oral surgery with a special interest regarding the reconstructive treament of alveolar atrophies.
Dr. Pierpaolo Cortellini received his MD from the University of Florence (Italy) in 1980, and his DDS in 1984 from the University of Siena (Italy). Dr Cortellini is the Secretery of the Accademia Toscana di Ricerca Odontostomatologica, Firenze Italy, and Board Member of the European Research Group in Periodontology, Berne (CH). He is active Member and Past President of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Past President of the European Federation of Periodontology. Promoter of “Project Periodontal Diagnosis” and Coordinator of the 5 “National Educational Projects” from SIdP, he was Scientific Chairman of Europerio 6. He runs a private practice in Florence (Italy), with services limited to periodontics. Dr. Cortellini is involved in clinical research in periodontology since 1982, with special emphasis to periodontal regeneration, aesthetics, and diagnosis. Dr. Cortellini lectures extensively on a national and international level; he is referee of scientific journals in the field of periodontology, and is the author of more than 100 original publications in scientific journals.

He has been honorary professor at the Ukrainian Academy of Medical Stomatology since 2006 and member of the most eminent international scientific associations in the field of Restorative Dentistry and Adhesive Prosthodontics.
Over the years, he has been practicing very high-level clinical activities, together with his own clinical Staff, setting-up within the University of Chieti one of the worldwide most advanced center in the field of Restorative Dentistry, Adhesive Prosthodontics and Occlusal Problems.
