She graduated with merit and distinction in dentistry from the Faculty of Medicine of the Univerity of Naples Federico II in 2004. She received her specialist degree in orthodontics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome, in 2012. She has authored publications in both national and international journals. She lectures and presents clinical case presentations at national and international congresses. Her interests focus almost exclusively on bracketless fixed lingual orthodontics. She works in private practice in Naples with Dr Fabio Cozzolino, whose interests are periodontology and implant dentistry, and Dr Roberto Sorrentino, who practices prosthetic and esthetic dentistry.
Mauro Merli graduated from the University of Bologna with a degree in medicine and surgery in 1986 and with a degree in odontostomatology in 1989. He is an active member of SIdP, AIOP and the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery. He is past president of SIdP and author of the multimedia books Implant Therapy (Quintessence, 2013) and Prosthetic Therapy in Implantology (Quintessence) as well as several scientific articles. He is currently professor of periodontology at the Marche Polytechnic University, President of the Merli Clinic. Together with his brother Aldo and sister Monica, Dr Merli runs a private practice founded by his father Mario.
Juan Mesa-Jiménez PT, MSc, PhD ist Professor an der medizinischen Fakultät und Leiter der Masterstudiengänge „Craniomandibuläre Dysfunktion“ und „Orofazialer Schmerz“ an der Universität San Pablo CEU, Madrid, Spanien. Er verfügt über eine mehr als 20-jährige klinische Erfahrung als Privatarzt einer Schmerzklinik, die auf die Behandlung von Patienten mit orofazialen Schmerzen spezialisiert ist. Er hat in peer-reviewed Fachzeitschriften wissenschaftliche Artikel über chronische orofaziale Schmerzen und deren Behandlung mittels Needling-Techniken veröffentlicht und spricht weltweit als Referent auf Konferenzen.
Richard J. Miron, DDS, BMSc, MSc, PhD, Dr med dent, is currently the lead educator and researcher at Advanced PRF Education and is Adjunct Visiting Faculty in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Bern, Switzerland, where he completed his PhD studies. He has published over 250 peer-reviewed articles and lectures internationally on many topics relating to growth factors, bone biomaterials, and guided bone regeneration. Widely considered to be one of the top contributors to research in dentistry, Dr Miron was recognized as the top-ranked researcher on PRF therapy in 2020 according to Expertscape independent review. He also recently won the ITI André Schroeder Prize, the IADR Young Investigator of the Year in the field of implant dentistry, as well as the IADR Socransky Research Award in the field of periodontology. Dr Miron has written five textbooks on regenerative dentistry, and he’s just getting started.
